After Stockholm, I stopped in Paris for another celebration of the “GLOSS: The Work of Chris von Wangenheim” fashion book by authors Mao Padilha and Roger Padilha. The Padilha brothers reunited a small group of friends – Maripol, Gia Genevieve, Emily Elicia Low, Allanah Starr, Victor Osborne…- for an early cozy dinner at the legendary Castel, followed by a dancing party at the basement of this iconic private club where other fans of the MAO PR brand joined in to the continuing celebration that started in New York City with the big¬†bash, during New York Fashion Week, thrown by Marc Jacobs, to honor Mao and Roger’s formidable work.
I had a lovely time during dinner with Emily and Gia, who sat next to me. It was a fun evening. The next day Mao and Roger had a book signing at the Bookmarc store in Paris . I wonder where will be the next party stop? ūüėÄ

Although this advertisement video -featuring Alexa Chung –¬†has been released about a month ago, celebrating the Longchamp season‚Äôs star handbag -LE PLIAGE¬ģ H√ČRITAGE . I just like it so much; such a cool vibe straight from the¬†hip Wynwood district in downtown Miami; the location choice couldn’t have better, it is such a compliment to¬†the handbag’s design.

traveLLing to paris with scOOter laforge

Last month my friend Scooter LaForge invited me to be his “plus one” guest on a three day trip to Paris. Of course my answer was yes. I love Paris, and to travel with Scooter is just a lot of fun. The main reason of the trip was to attend the fashion show of Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck; Scooter did another collaboration with Walter; this time for his S/S 2015 WhamBam collection. Scooter made me a special dress for the occasion and I must say his dress was a success everywhere we went.

Needless to say that we had a blast in Paris waiting for the day of Walter’s show which happened to be on our last day in Paris, and after the fabulous runway presentation, I hung out backstage with Scooter for a while, and we still had energy to go straight to the Mugler Follies dinner plus show. It was my second time watching it, and I would watch it a third time…just saying.
Thank you Scooter; I will be your “plus one” anytime … ūüėÄ

When I was in Paris two months ago, I went to the Moulin Rouge dinner experience ( ) with¬†my partner Mark Anthony; well this time¬†around, I checked the¬†¬†“Mugler Follies”, a cabaret show extravaganza by former fashion¬†designer Thierry Mugler, who now goes by his¬†first name¬†Manfred.¬†We (moi and a group of friends)¬†¬†opted¬†for the dinner plus¬†show¬†package!
If you don’t know anything about Mugler, oh darling I don’t even know where to begin with you….anyway,¬†on “Mugler Follies”¬†Manfred clearly takes us on a personal tribute to his own creations, with the use of acrobat, performers and dancers, he involves the audience on a world where show business glamour and costumes meets sci-fi aesthetic with the purpose to recounting the tale of a young woman awakening from a dream to life. It is a mix of show and a fashion show where sophisticated and sexy¬†silhouettes are changing on a fast pace, faster than a can-can…
I enjoyed it¬†for what it is…and I recommend the show and drinks…but not the food !

l’amour enferm√© dans paris

I was in Paris this past weekend to attend a friend’s birthday celebration; I so love being in that¬†enchanting¬†city, everything is so beautiful and romantic. Well, I am sure that by now, you already know about the Pont des Arts¬†bridge, where lovers began sealing their love by locking padlocks onto the chain link fence of this pedestrian passage that crosses¬†the Seine River. Since, I was¬†walking on¬†by there, I couldn’t help taking some photos….ahhh l’amour….
